From the legendary organ rooms of Harlem and Greenwich Village, veteran New York City saxophonist Nick Hempton is bringing his free-blowing blend of “barroom excitement and modern jazz finesse” to Toronto! Fronting a classic Hammond organ band, Hempton will be presenting “engagingly bluesy originals” (DownBeat) from his new album, as well as classics of the organ jazz repertoire.
